Welcome to Lumiere Essence. By accessing or using our website lumiereessence.in and purchasing our products, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before placing an order.
1. About Us
Lumiere Essence is a luxury fragrance brand based in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. We sell handcrafted candles and reed diffusers through our website. All products are crafted in India.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age to make a purchase on our website. By placing an order, you confirm that you are of legal age and have the authority to enter into a binding agreement.
3. Products & Pricing
- All prices are listed in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable taxes.
- We reserve the right to update prices at any time without prior notice. The price at the time of your order placement will apply.
- Product images are for illustration purposes. Due to the handcrafted nature of our products, slight variations in colour, texture, and appearance may occur.
- We strive to keep product descriptions accurate, but do not warrant that descriptions are error-free.
4. Orders & Cancellations
- Placing an order constitutes an offer to purchase. We reserve the right to accept or decline any order.
- You will receive an order confirmation with your order number upon successful placement.
- We may cancel orders due to pricing errors, stock unavailability, or suspected fraudulent activity.
- Cancellations by customers are only permitted while the order status is Confirmed or Processing. Once your order has been dispatched (status: Shipped), cancellations are no longer accepted.
- To cancel an eligible order, log in to your account, go to My Orders, and select Cancel Order. You may also reach us on WhatsApp at +91 80884 91136.
- If a payment was made for a cancelled order, a refund will be processed within 5–7 business days to the original payment method.
5. Payments
- We accept payments via Razorpay — including UPI (Google Pay, PhonePe, BHIM), credit/debit cards, wallets, and net banking.
- All online payments are processed securely by Razorpay Payment Solutions Pvt. Ltd., a PCI-DSS compliant payment gateway.
- We do not store your payment card details on our servers.
- Cash on Delivery is not available. All orders must be paid online at the time of checkout.
6. No Returns, Refunds, or Exchanges
Due to the nature of our products — candles and reed diffusers — we operate a strict no returns, no refunds, and no exchanges policy. These are personal-use fragrance products and cannot be resold once delivered.
Exceptions may be considered only in the following cases:
- Damaged in transit: If your product arrives damaged or broken, contact us within 24 hours of delivery with photographs of the damage and packaging. We will arrange a replacement at no additional cost.
- Wrong product delivered: If you receive the wrong item, contact us within 24 hours and we will arrange the correct product to be sent.

7. Shipping & Delivery
- We ship across India. International shipping is not available at this time.
- Orders above ₹1,200 qualify for free shipping.
- Delivery timelines are estimates and may vary depending on your location and courier availability.
- We are not responsible for delays caused by courier services, natural events, or unforeseen circumstances.
8. Coupon Codes & Promotions
- Coupon codes are subject to terms specified at the time of issue.
- Coupons cannot be combined with other offers unless explicitly stated.
- We reserve the right to revoke or modify promotional offers at any time.
9. Account
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
- You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
10. Intellectual Property
All content on this website — including text, images, logos, designs, and product names — is the property of Lumiere Essence and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content without our prior written consent.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lumiere Essence shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our website or products. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific product in question.
12. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka.
13. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the website after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
